Teacher’s Corner Residential Conversion

CENTEK provided full structural and MEP engineering services for the conversion of an existing office building into Teacher’s Corner, a mixed-use residential development in downtown Hartford. The project delivered 65 leased apartments above underground parking and included building assessments, design development, and construction documents designed to meet or exceed Energy Star standards. To minimize future disruption to tenants, utilities were strategically routed to shell retail spaces for future fit-outs, ensuring flexibility while maintaining cost efficiency for the developer.

Soundview Landing – Residential Redevelopment

This project involved MEP and structural engineering design for the multi-phase redevelopment of Soundview Landing, a residential complex comprising five new buildings totaling over 400,000 square feet. The three construction phases delivered 165 housing units and integrated structured parking facilities. Rowe Housing Redevelopment

Quinnipiac Terrace – Phase III

This project involved MEP and fire protection design for the third phase of the Quinnipiac Terrace redevelopment, a mixed-income residential community in New Haven. The work included design of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for new family rental housing units, as well as a pathway-to-homeownership component. CENTEK delivered design development, GMP, and construction document packages that met or exceeded Energy Star and Energy Blueprint standards, ensuring system efficiency and long-term performance.
