This project involved mechanical and plumbing design for the new Administration and Maintenance Buildings at the Eastern Connecticut Fire School. CENTEK provided HVAC and plumbing systems to support classrooms, training spaces, and facility operations, including boilers, heat pumps, condensing units, and radiant heating. The design incorporated new domestic water, sanitary, natural gas, and grease waste systems coordinated across disciplines to ensure seamless integration with architectural and structural components. Effective communication with multiple design teams minimized field revisions and ensured timely project completion.

Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial

This project involved electrical design for the Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial, providing new electrical service and power distribution for pump vault equipment and site lighting. CENTEK designed and coordinated underground utilities, conduit routing, and electrical enclosures to house power and control systems for the water feature and site illumination. The design balanced technical functionality with the sensitivity and aesthetics of the memorial’s landscape, ensuring a reliable and visually discreet electrical infrastructure.

Police Department Data Room Expansion

This project involved mechanical and electrical design for the expansion of the Orange Police Department’s 911 data room to support future technology growth. CENTEK provided new HVAC cooling systems and controls, power distribution and lighting, data racks and cable management, and door access controls, along with architectural support for interior modifications.
