Yale Science Building G119 Chamber Installation

This project involved MEP and fire protection design for the installation of new Conviron Growth Chambers within the G119 lab of Yale’s Science Building. CENTEK provided new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to support the chambers’ carbon dioxide, pure water, and humidity requirements, along with sprinkler modifications and a new electrical panel. The design ensured reliable performance and seamless integration with existing lab infrastructure, supporting advanced research environments with precise environmental control.

Yale GML Greenhouse Refurbishment
New Haven, CT

This project’s purpose was to install a new environment control system that would maintain temperature and humidity levels based on the types of plants that were being grown and researched within the greenhouse space. Our scope of work included removing the existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fixtures, equipment, and services and replacing them with new fixtures, equipment, and services that effectively communicate with the new environmental control system. The result was an MEP system that provides hot air and humidity with exhaust capabilities to help increase or decrease the temperature and humidity within the space.

BASS 425 Harris | Osborn Memorial Laboratory Renovation

Client: Yale New Haven Health
The purpose of this project was to remove and replace the existing laboratory fixtures, equipment, and components to accommodate the new laboratory layout including a new Biosafety Lab Level 2 Wet and Dirty Wet Labs. Our scope of work was to remove and replace the existing Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical fixtures, equipment, and components to better serve the new rooms and labs within the renovation space. The result was a new space with wet and dirty wet biosafety lab level 2 capabilities and a conference room for the new Harris Lab.
