Waveny Park Antenna Relocation
New Canaan, CT
Client: CSB

This project involved civil, structural, and telecommunications design for the relocation of antennas at the Waveny Park water tank site. The scope included repainting of the existing water tanks, design of a new cable management system, and modification of RF-transparent screening to support the new installation. The main challenge was relocating active antennas and cabling while keeping the cell site fully operational. The design ensured proper routing, accessibility, and structural integrity while maintaining radio frequency performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Verizon Wireless – Quinnipiac University Site
Hamden, CT
Client: Verizon Wireless

This project involved structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection design for Verizon Wireless equipment installed on the roof of the East Residence Hall at Quinnipiac University. CENTEK prepared construction documents for antennas housed within an RF-transparent enclosure atop the existing penthouse, a 300-square-foot equipment room, and a natural gas generator supported on a steel dunnage frame. The main challenge was designing the rooftop enclosure to accommodate all proposed antennas while maintaining the architectural appearance of the existing penthouse. The result provided reliable infrastructure and seamless visual integration with the host building.
