Communications infrastructure is frequently being located on existing building rooftops through leasing agreements. Centek provides complete structural investigations from the rooftop loads down through the building to the foundations, including wind and seismic analyses. Radio equipment cabinets and shelters are either mounted to existing structures if available or to newly engineered supporting frameworks and enclosures. Total electrical loads are reviewed to determined capacity and upgrade requirements, and emergency generators are incorporated for backup power.
